Green and White Passion
Real Betis Balompié, founded in 1907, is defined by the extraordinary passion of its supporters — captured in the famous cry “¡Viva el Betis manque pierda!” (“Long live Betis even when they lose!”). The Verdiblancos won La Liga in 1935 and have long been one of Spain’s most beloved and colourful clubs.
Under Manuel Pellegrini, Betis have enjoyed a golden modern era, winning the 2022 Copa del Rey, reaching a Conference League final, and now — after a stunning fifth-placed finish in 2025/26 — returning to the Champions League for the first time in 21 years.
